Case study

Mark had rent arrears and several credit cards which had spiralled out of control. He booked an appointment at Grants. We contacted Mark's creditors and explained that he was in financial difficulty. We checked the charges added to Mark's accounts and challenged unfair amounts, reducing the total amount owed. Then we negotiated a new, affordable repayment plan with Mark's creditors.

Whilst we were handling Mark's debt problem, we noticed that one debt was too old to legally collect. We challenged the creditor and subsequently the debt was written off.
